Bob was raised in South Dakota on the family’s farm and ranch operation near Belle Fourche, SD. He started farming while in high school and for most of his life operated an irrigated farm and ranch in Butte County raising alfalfa hay, sheep and crops. While trucking hay to customers of the farming business, Bob traveled extensively in the region and knows much of it by heart.
Bob started his real estate career in 1997, opening his own office, Tri-State Realty, Inc. in 2002. Bob’s knowledge of this region, the friends and contacts he has made over the years help him to give real estate clients professional service. With first-hand experience and knowledge in agriculture, Bob is especially qualified working with farm and ranch properties. He also enjoys working with people wanting to buy or sell a residential property, acreage or commercial property.
Bob is a full time realtor now, although he stays closely connected to agriculture. Son John is a cattle rancher so there is plenty of opportunity to ‘help out.’ Daughter Jennifer, husband Chad and family live and work in Gillette, WY. Bob and Susan have the greatest grandchildren, of course! Taiton is a US Marine, Wyatt is a junior at Campbell County high school, Jett & Kaedon are in middle school and Arissa is a 5th grader. You can be confident of Bob’s real estate experience and service. He is licensed in South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana and North Dakota.

Skyler Massie considers growing up in Belle Fourche a great privilege. Born,
raised and educated here in the Northern Black Hills, Skyler gained knowledge
of the area that will propel him to success. Working in the alfalfa fields of
Fruitdale, branding in Camp Crook and hand picking corn in Belle Fourche
secured Skyler a strong work ethic at a young age.
Skyler gained experience early in life from a wide variety of construction work: landscaping, lawn sprinkler installation, residential carpentry and the construction courses offered by Belle Fourche High School will be paramount to his success as a member of our team.
Skyler obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from Black Hills State University in 2011, learning about law, civics and policy. He earned his real estate license in March 2013, giving him the opportunity to serve the area as a real estate broker associate.
Says Skyler: “Returning to Belle Fourche and reconnecting with the community has been exciting. The chance to provide people of this area the greatest opportunities to find a home for them and their families is fulfilling; and having the opportunity to be a member of the Tri-State Realty family has been wonderful.”
