BOB GERKIN

Bob was raised in South Dakota on the family’s farm and ranch operation near Belle Fourche , SD. He started farming on his own while in high school and continues today operating an irrigated farm and ranch in Butte County . Bob has spent his life in agriculture, raising alfalfa hay, sheep and crops. His son, John, is a major partner in the business, raising cattle. While trucking hay to customers of the farming business, Bob has traveled extensively in the region and knows much of it by heart.

Bob started his real estate career in 1997, opening his own office, Tri-State Realty, Inc. in 2002. Bob’s knowledge of this region and the friends and contacts he has made over the years help him to give real estate clients the professional service they expect. With first hand experience and knowledge in agriculture, Bob is especially qualified working with farm and ranch properties. He enjoys working with people looking to buy or sell a home, acreage or commercial property, as well.

Bob and wife, Susan, have a daughter and son. Their son, John, lives and works on the family farm and ranch. Daughter Jennifer and family live in Wyoming . Bob and Susan have a great time with their grandchildren, Taiton, Wyatt, Jett, Kaedon and Arissa whenever possible!

ALAN KINDSFATER

Alan Kindsfater was born and raised in Belle Fourche on his family’s farm just east of Belle Fourche. He attended college at the University of South Dakota At Springfield graduating with an Assoc. Degree in Diesel Technology. After graduation Alan returned home to join his older brother in farming and ranching until 1997. Alan, along with his wife Mary Beth, daughter Katy, and sons David and Adam continue to raise registered Angus cattle and alfalfa on their family farm.

Alan started his Real Estate career joining Tri-State Realty, Inc. in 2004. Having been involved in several transactions in all aspects of Real Estate in the last 2 ½ years, Alan has gained the expertise and knowledge necessary to assist his clients with optimal service from start to finish.

Alan’s involvement in agriculture gives him a valuable perspective in understanding the agricultural lifestyle and the agri-business cycle, however he enjoys working in all aspects of Real Estate. Alan is licensed in South Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana. POLLY ODLE

NICOLE WEISHAAR

Hi!, I’m Nicole Weishaar. My husband Seth and I live on the outskirts of Belle Fourche along with our two young children, daughter Shaine and son Sern .

I was born and raised in western North Dakota and have lived in the Belle Fourche area for the past seven years. Both my husband and I grew up on working cattle ranches and have an appreciation and love for the outdoors and the western lifestyle of the Black Hills. Seth is a livestock auctioneer and travels the tri-state area conducting sales. He is fortunate to work with some of the areas top cattle and horse producers.

My previous experience is in the finance industry and particularly in the finance of real estate. I look forward to using my knowledge and experience in this area to make your transaction a success whether you are looking to sell or purchase a property.

KATHY DOORNINK

Kathy Doornink, Broker Associate, has a background in agriculture and office management. Kathy grew up on a dairy farm in northwest Iowa.  She graduated with a degree in Office Management from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa.  Kathy worked as office manager and administrative assistant for 15 years and helped with the family’s custom harvest operations. With this upbringing and experience, Kathy knows the meaning of a hard day’s work and will put that same effort into working for you. She will help you find your property and guide you through the details of your real estate transaction.

Kathy also works with her husband on construction and development projects. The Buffalo Ridge Subdivision #1 & #2 are located a few miles west of Belle Fourche and consist of lots ranging from 5 to 20 acres. Kathy is licensed in South Dakota and Wyoming, and a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Northern Hills Association of Realtors, Christian Life Center, and the Belle Fourche Chamber of Commerce.
